New course at Deltona High!

Deltona High School is excited to announce that starting in the 2018-2019 school year, we will be offering an exciting new course that we know will help benefit our students.  This is a technology-based, full year elective open to all grade levels to help students develop real world technology applications and to earn industry certifications that can be applied to both career and college after high school. Our new course is called Digital Information Technology and it focuses on an overview of current business and information systems and trends, and introduces students to fundamental skills required for today's business and academic environments.

Emphasis is placed on developing fundamental computer skills.  The intention of this course is to prepare students to be successful both personally and professionally in an information based society.  Digital Information Technology includes certification in the Microsoft Office Specialist package including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. It is a great course to get students comfortable moving forward with the application of skills needed for academic success.
