August Agenda for Science Olympiad Team

Our first meeting of the 2018 Sciecne Olympiad team will be Tuesday, 8/22 at lunch in room 12-03. Mr. Clark's.

We have a lot to complete in August before the event rules are released in early September. The plan is to have two full teams and our goals is to get to state and win events!!

Stuff we need to get done in August:

1) organize

2) set meeting dates foe 1st quarter (not the same as practice/prepare sessions)

3) elect officers for club

4) select community activtiy we will participate in

5) determin club dues amount (this should include team T-shirt and bus transportation)

6) select evening date for Sci Olympiad parent night to rasie money and get parents invovled with the team

7) complete T-shirt design competition

8) How will we raise money during the homecoming carnival? it is in the evening with a bonfire pep rally this year.

9) complete our first fund raiser - likely the old shoe collection project successfully done at Galaxy last year

10) identify preliminary student-event matching. We have the preliminary events list just no rules until September.
